The Wilkins Collection is comprised of artworks acquired by the NSW Department of Education (DoE) each year since 1974, from student artists selected for ARTEXPRESS. This collection is of international significance, providing insight into the concerns and interests of youth over 40 years in Australia. Curatorial+Co.’s Claire Field curated over 400 selected pieces from the collection into multiple DoE buildings throughout Sydney including the DoE flagship office at 105 Phillip Street Parramatta, designed by award-winning architects Bates Smart; 259 George Street Suncorp Place, and the DoE federation building in Strathfield.
