Curatorial+Co. is thrilled to announce another mammoth art consultancy project recently completed at boutique hotel Lanson Place Parliament Gardens, Melbourne, presenting an extensive collection of over 450 artworks throughout the hotel and a monumental 40-meter mirrored ceiling installation by Boonwurrung, Wemba Wemba and Trawlwoolway woman and artist Jarra Karalinar Steel and sculptor Corey Thomas. This collection celebrates the historical legacy of the former Salvation Army print factory through art that emphasises the raw essence of mark-making and materiality, embodied in a minimalist, industrial aesthetic.

The Lanson Place art collection presents works by both established and emerging artists from across Australia, with a strong focus on Melbourne and Victoria. Notable talents include Tracey Lamb, Kasper Raglus, Lucas Wearne, Lani Buckland, Karen Lee Mungarrja, Min Ray, Jayda Koludrovic, Jo Moloney, Sanae Mawhinney, Kristy Hussey, Sanae Mawhinney, Rebecca Rose, and Lachlan Stonehouse. In addition to these local stars, the collection also features original works by notable artists further afield such as Kate Banazi, Brigita Ozolins, Caroline Duffy, Leonie Barton, Steve Gorrow, Sureen and Thomas Gouws, Berny Bacic, Greg Donovan, Karen Lee Mungarrja, Julie Cavallero, Scott Thomlinson, Susan Chen and Katarina Wells.

Honouring historical legacies while embracing the future, the Lanson Place art collection creates an environment where mark-making and form serve as conduits for the imagination. We invite you to embark on this visual journey, where the past and present converge in harmony, and the narrative of material tells stories that transcend time.
